SUBANG JAYA - Despite the short time given, Taylor's University hospitality students managed to pull through and fill up all the seats in Thyme and Terragon on 31 Oct.
According to one of the two event managers, Chow Shenn Ni, one month was all they had to prepare for the "Sail the World with Us!" charity dinner to raise funds for World Vision Malaysia on Halloween.
"It was a challenge for the students as they only had one month to prepare when they normally have two months," she said.
Chow added that the menu was created by students with the assistance of Chef Diana Cornwell Neowcharurn and Chef Massyittah Omar.
A total of 80 people attended the charity dinner which costs RM85 per person, in which American, Mexican, Russian and Japanese delicacies were served.
